At times, Matt J. Duffy can be found teaching in his tuxedo while eating a chocolate chip cookie.

Aseasoned editor and writer with more than 15 years of experience, Matt J. Duffy leads the close-knit staff of Oxford Editing. Duffy also teaches writing, journalism and communication courses at Georgia State University in Atlanta. He honed his skills as an editor with several newspapers (including the Boston Herald) and as a writer for various publications (including The New York Sun.)

Duffy earned a master’s degree in mass communication from the Grady School of Journalism, home of the prestigious Peabody Award. He's working toward a Ph.D. in Public Communication at GSU. His combination of newspaper and academic experience provides a unique perspective for a wide swath of projects.

A lawyer with more than 14 years of experience in legal, technical, and general-interest writing and editing, Kristen M. Green is a partner in the law firm of Gibson, Nakamura & Green, P.L.L.C., in Tucson, Arizona. Green honed her skills at Gannett Suburban Newspapers (now The Journal News) in White Plains, New York, and International Data Corporation, Boston University Law Review, the American Journal of Law & Medicine, and inc.com in Boston.


Green earned a J.D. in 1998 from Boston University School of Law and an M.S. in Mass Communication, with distinction, the same year from Boston University’s College of Communication. Her combination of newspaper, Internet, technical, and legal writing and editing experience make her exceptionally suited to handle almost any editing project.
